The Zaouli Dancer
$65.00
This is a traditional dancer of the Guro people of the Central Ivory Coast West Africa. Each village has a prized dancer. The mask represents Djela Lou Zaouli. (meaning; the daughter of Djela.). The dancer listens to his drummers and begins stamping his feet in a mesmerizing and hypnotic way, while his upper body remains still.
