On reaching the tall elephant grass near the swampland in Grand Revere, crab traps made out of bamboo, are set in front of crab holes, in the soft muddy ground. Each hole lives one crab. These traps are left overnight. The next day the traps are emptied and reset in front of another hole. The crabs are tied with vine and taken home.
